Gabi Beach
Phonics Enrichment and Story Time, Early American History
My name is Gabi Beach and I am really looking forward to teaching at CCE this school year! I taught at Our Lady Of Lourdes Classical Catholic School for 3 years as the assistant teacher for Kindergarten and 1st grade. We heavily focused on phonics and the foundations of reading and writing. From there, I transitioned to a different role in Catholic schools as a school counselor through St. Raphael Counseling. I am currently the school counselor at another school in the archdiocese where I work with K-8 students one-on-one, in groups, and as whole classes. I am so excited to be back in the classroom setting at CCE and looking forward to getting to know the community!

Erik Feltes
Great Short Stories
A husband, and father of four, I work as facilities manager for St. Vincent de Paul Church and School, where I aim to maintain the fantastic look of our campus. When I am not working, I enjoy playing table-top games, woodworking, raising chickens, gardening, and learning new skills with my children. I have been a reader since kindergarten, when my mother taught me to read a book about a Panda Bear. So many stories have accompanied me through different
parts of my life. My five favorite books are: The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien (unfairly getting three books for one answer), Mr. Blue by Myles Connolly, Brideshead Revisited by Evelyn Waugh, The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Graham, and The Clown of God by Tomie dePaola.
Kate Feltes
Botany
Mrs. Feltes discovered her love of nature while completing a BA in Liberal Arts at Thomas Aquinas College. Although she focused on science in her later studies for an elementary teacher’s license at Eastern Michigan University, she felt lost in a sea of beautiful, but unrelated and unknown plants. Much to her delight, her recent independent studies have uncovered the logic and order with which our Creator has designed the plants of the earth, in their different and related families. This is precisely what she wishes to share with her class this year. In her free time, Mrs. Feltes enjoys studying, spending time in nature, and singing with a local choir.

After her third child was born, she quit work to stay home and be a full-time wife and mother. She and Tim now have 7 children from 3 to 17 years old. Alison has coached or been assistant coach for her young childrens’ various sports teams. She enjoys all kinds of sports and athletic endeavors.
