CCE opens its doors in our preview look at our new school year, giving our new families an opportunity to meet our teachers, look around, ask questions, and get oriented to our location and facility. We also welcome those who have not yet registered and would like more helpful information about the CCE program in order to aid in their decision process. Tours are available for new families and light refreshments will be served. Come join us!

Molly Brown and the Miners (ages 8-12)
THAR’S GOLD IN THEM THAR HILLS! Go back to the 1800s as we dig into the history of mining in Colorado! Molly Brown and the Miners, or The Luck at Leadville is a fun musical, written and composed by Director Cindy Oury. JJ and Molly Brown, Horace and Augusta Tabor, and motherly Rockytop Rosie are just a few characters you will meet as we strike it rich with knowledge and fun!
Classes: Thursdays, Sept 12 – Jan 9, 2:30-4:30
Cost: $150 per student (additional siblings 10% off, scholarships available)
Class/Performance Location: Colorado ACTS Theater (carpool from CCE will be organized)

Six Sue’s Silver Mine or Somebody Please Say Yes (A Melodrama) (ages 12-18)
All the fun of an old fashioned melodrama. Which of Scrawny Sam’s daughters will say yes and inherit the mine?

Interest Fair

What is an Interest Fair? It’s a fun, educational event that is somewhat like a science fair–only students get to present on whatever topic they’d like. It can certainly be science, but could also be history, our Catholic Faith, a hobby, a famous person, or any topic under the sun. There will be judging and prizes for our winners. An Interest Fair is great fun for presenters and observers alike.

International Towne

Join us as we head into adventure at International Towne! This unique, interactive experience teaches international business, trade, currency exchange, diplomacy, and responsible credit card use in a fun, hands-on way. Volunteer teachers from CCE will prepare students for the best part of the program–a day running International Towne. Through periodic meetings and some at-home activities, students will prepare for International Towne together. Then we’ll meet as a group to discuss concepts, complete activities, apply for a job in Towne, and get ready for Towne Day. The schedule of meetings and events is still under development, so watch for more details coming soon!
